BIO
Carol Sebert graduated from her studies in Toronto with a passion for both painting and textile design. She paints in oils and watercolour. Working plein air in all seasons, and still life work she sets up in her studio. Carol examines the natural world through the joy of colour. Her work captures the energy of the objects or settings she studies. Carol lives in Flesherton Ontario and works in her studio in a converted barn on the property. Carol founded "Creative Matters" in Toronto in 1988. In building this award winning international carpet design company she fulfilled her interest in textiles and design. She has retired from this role but continues to volunteer with the International Wool Textile Organization as the chairperson of the interiors working group. She is also on the board of the Canadian Wool Council.
