Art in the Valley is a free annual art exhibition held each fall at the Kimberley Community Hall in the heart of the Beaver Valley, Grey Highlands, Ontario. Now in its 7th year, the show brings together twelve local artists working in oil, ceramics, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, drawing visitors from Collingwood, Meaford, Owen Sound, and beyond.

The weekend after Thanksgiving. Free admission. Everyone welcome.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Making Space for Art explores the theme of creative narrative through an immersive collection inspired by rural life, farms, and imaginative landscapes. This exhibition brings together works that transform countryside scenes, wildlife, and natural elements into expressive visual stories, where observation and imagination intertwine.

Across a range of media — including oil, acrylic, ceramics, photography, and sculpture — artists convey a deep connection to both environment and emotion. Textures, colours, and forms work together to evoke the quiet rhythms of fields and forests, while also hinting at more mystical, dreamlike interpretations of place.
