ABOUT THE SHOW
Making Space for Art explores the theme of creative narrative through an immersive collection inspired by rural life, farms and imaginative landscapes. This exhibition brings together works that transform countryside scenes, wildlife, and natural elements into expressive visual stories, where observation and imagination intertwine.
Across a range of media—including oil, acrylic, ceramics, and sculpture—artists convey a deep connection to both environment and emotion. Textures, colors, and forms work together to evoke the quiet rhythms of fields and forests, while also hinting at more mystical, dreamlike interpretations of place.
Visitors are invited to move through a series of open, flowing spaces that echo the exhibition’s themes of transparency and depth. Each piece offers a unique perspective, encouraging reflection on the relationship between art, nature, and storytelling.
Balancing rustic subject matter with contemporary expression, this exhibition offers a thoughtful and engaging experience for those drawn to art that captures both the seen and the imagined.

“Art can affect a community in several ways: like improving the economy, boosting community morale, exploring nature, bridging generational gaps, and embracing learning. When you are in the hall during this show you feel like it is doing all of these things. The buzz and the excitement is palpable!”
Ray Macdonald, Co-Chair
